I think humans do have this tendency and I really think it is because many of us humans are very selective people who only like what is visible instead of looking at the bigger picture. God gave each and every one of us (including animals) the ability to think for themselves and therefore it also gives us the ability to judge, hate and criticize whatever the naked eye can see instead of showing love, respect and compassion for those hurting on the inside. So basically what I am trying to say is that this statement is 100% true in my opinion.
