When Kennedy took office, the public perception was that the Soviet Union had established itself as leader in the “space race,” a term coined to represent the competition between the two super powers for dominance in development of space technologies and exploration. In this speech, delivered at Rice University in Texas, Kennedy describes his goals for space exploration, which included landing a man on the moon.

1 Those who came before us made certain that this country rode the first waves of the industrial revolution, the first waves of modern invention, and the first wave of nuclear power, and this generation does not intend to founder in the backwash of the coming age of space. We mean to be a part of it–we mean to lead it. For the eyes of the world now look into space, to the moon and to the planets beyond, and we have vowed that we shall not see it governed by a hostile flag of conquest, but by a banner of freedom and peace. This essay will argue that mountain bikes are better than moto bikes. mountain bikes are better than motorbikes because they are light, meaning you can take them to a lot of places. With mountain bikes you can be free and ride around places at any age but with motorbikes you have to be old enough to have a licence. Mountain bikes can be cheap or expensive so if you're a beginner you can buy a cheap bike to see if you like it.

Mountain bikes are better than moto bikes because mountain bikes are really light compared to a moto bike meaning it is easier for you to take a mountain bike away, To say if you were going on a trip/holiday ride for the day, it is really easy to just get your mountain bike and ride as in a moto bime you would have to get all your gear on first make sure you have a licence and registration, ETC.

With motorbikes you have to have a licence and registration plus you have to be oldernough to get that, but with a mountain bike at any age you can start riding and no ones stopping you. With a motorbike you can't just go for a quick little ride or a cruise you have to be oldernought and have a licence and rego and a helmet.

With Mountain biking you can get bikes for really cheap or expensive so if you are just a beginner you can get a cheap bike and see if you like it and if you really like it upgrade to a slightly better bike, then if you stick with it you might choose to get a more expensive bike so that you can do big stuff with the right type of bike you need. But even if you get an expensive bike it's still not as expensive as a good motorbike.
