In World War 2, the Axis Powers were winning and Japan had just made the big mistake of bombing Pearl Harbor. After President Franklin Roosevelt had just declared war on Japan and their allies, many citizens helped build the tools of war. Tanks, airplanes, and other weapons were quickly made because of the determination people had to stop Japan from taking over the world. Women started to work in factories when the men had to fight overseas. As you can see, people/civilians helped fight in different ways in WW2.
