how does the contrast between grendel and beowulf turn their conflict into a clash

Answers

Answer:

In Beowulf, an old epic poem, the fight between the Grendel and the Beowulf supports the evidence that it is a symbol of the struggle between the evil and the good due to feud with the almighty God. The symbolism of Beowulf’s gesture in lines 356-359

“wulfgar] then turned quickly to where hrothgar sat

old and hoary with his band of retainers

walked stoutly so that he by shoulders stood

with the lord of the danes ”

which reveal a theme resulting from this conflict is when Grendel's arms are hung from the rafter by Beowulf. Through this, it depicts that heaven and goodness have prevailed. Hence, through the nature of actions by Beowulf, the theme of violence is highlighted and that of evil versus goodness.

He is white and brown. You just mentioned your dog in the first phrase, so there's no need to explicitly state that you're describing him in the second.

The Trombone
Jerry stepped off the bus at the music school, and he mentally reviewed the correct trombone slide positions as he walked to Room 10 at the end of the hall. He sat down at his chair in front of the music stand and smiled eagerly at Nadine, his teacher, who gave him a strange look.
“Where’s your trombone?” she asked.
“Oh, no!” He’d left it on the bus! “What’ll I do?” he asked, after explaining the situation to Nadine.
“You’ll have to get it back, or your parents are out nine hundred dollars.”
“Oh, no.” He clapped his hands to his face in despair.
She sent him home without a lesson. The bus ride back was pure agony. It reminded him of the previous bus, where the catastrophe had occurred. Fortunately, this driver, to whom Jerry confided his plight, advised him to call the bus company’s lost and found. But it was six o’clock; the bus company’s phone recording said that the lost and found closed at five.
The next day, Jerry’s father drove him to the bus company office, and—the trombone wasn’t there. No one had turned it in.
“I’m an idiot,” Jerry moaned, as his father drove him to the music school to meet his doom. “I never do anything right.”
“You’re not an idiot, you’re a normal kid, and you do a million things right. Now you’ll never do this kind of thing again. If the trombone doesn’t show up, we’ll work out a way for you to pay for it over time.”
Walking the corridor to Room 10 beside his father, Jerry felt like a pirate walking the plank. With a feeling of dread he opened the door. Inside stood Nadine, working the slide on a trombone but not putting the mouthpiece to her lips. Wait—the trombone had a familiar dent on the bell and a familiar little scratch on the mouthpiece. It was his!
“Someone turned it in at the desk,” Nadine smiled. “A passenger from your bus. Thank goodness for honest people, huh?”
Jerry sank into his seat with an immense sigh of relief, and vowed to himself that he would never do anything wrong again in his life.

"You have to return it, otherwise your parents will lose $900."

"Oh no," says the speaker. In despair, he clapped his hands to his face.

"Write a 3-5 page allegory referring to the pilgrams stories from the Canterbury Tales."
ANYTHING WILL HELP PLEASEEEE.

Answers

Answer:

But first, what is allegory? Well, put simply, it's a story that can be understood on both a literal and symbolic level. The Canterbury Tales itself is an allegory for the journey of life itself, and within this are several parables that serve as more specific moral allegories.  In short, the Pardoner's Tale is the allegory of how the sinful soul ignores God's revelation and rejects the opportunity for eternal life in favor of a mortal life centered on pleasure and material things. The text of the Wife of Bath's Prologue is based in the medieval genre of allegorical “confession.” In a morality play, a personified vice such as Gluttony or Lust “confesses” his or her sins to the audience in a life story. The Canterbury Tales characters are allegorical because they give the reader insight into the hypocrisy that is part of everyday life. Chaucer uses characters from a variety of different backgrounds to criticize a variety of different social institutions, with only a few characters being spared.

Just when did warp change from an imaginary.technology to an actual theory studied by real-life scientists? The answer is 1994, whenMiguel Alcubierre, a college physics student at the time, worked out the math.9 To understand Alcubierre's discovery, we need to talk a little more about AlbertEinstein After publishing his theory of special relativity in 1905, Einstein moved to a biggertheory: general relativity. Built on a set of "field equations"-formulas describing spaceand time that can have different solutions, depending how you use them-generalrelativity showed that space is like a fabric that's warped by gravity.10 Solving the Einstein field equations in his own way, Alcubierre found that a tiny.area of space in front of a ship could be compressed, while an area of space behindthe ship is expanded. This would generate a "warp bubble" that could move faster thanlight, carrying the ship inside like an ocean wave carries a surfer. Imagine that the wavecarrying the surfboard did not come from the wind, but instead were generated by anengine on the surfboard itself, and you'll understand the concept of warp drive11 Concepts are great, but can we learn to actually squeeze and stretch space like theSpandex of our workout pants?
