Mrs. Od quesada: Oh! I love to eat in a restaurant. There are a lot of different things! Don’t you like it too my love? ( it’s supposed to be life but it makes no sense so its just a way of saying love)

Mr. Quesada: yes of course! Well, I want chicken with french fries, and a glass of wine. And for desert a vanilla ice cream.

Mrs. Quesada: oh no pepe! I think that you are too fat! You don’t need french fries, nor ice cream. also the sugar is not good for your health! Don’t your like the eggs?

Mr. Quesada: but lupita, my love…

Mrs. Quesada: waiter, 2 hard boiled eggs, a toast, and a glass of water for my husband.

Mr. Quesada: oh for me?!

Waiter: what are you going to order ma’am?

Mrs. Quesada: well since im skinny, I will eat, steak with mashes potatoes, a soda. And for desert, the chocolate putting. We like to eat in restaurants so much sweetheart, is it not true?

The Spanish public educational system is divided into four stages: pre-school (escuela infantil) (from 3 to 6 years old), elementary education (from 6 to 12 years old), secondary education (from 12 to 16 years old), and the baccalaureate degree (bachillerato) (from 16 to 18 years old). Core subjects of secondary education are mandatory and cannot be chosen: Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Physical Education, Plastic and Visual Education, Spanish and Literature, Foreign Language (usually English), Mathematics, Music, and Technology. During the two years of the bachillerato, students should take at least Physical Education, Philosophy, Spanish and Literature, Foreign Language, and History. There are three more subjects to study, depending on the school’s course offerings: Technical Drawing, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Latin, Greek, etc. Each school also offers some optional subjects that may be chosen, depending on student interest.


Extracurricular activities

Some high schools offer optional extracurricular activities in the afternoon. Popular sports are soccer, volleyball, basketball, and aquatic sports in some schools. Some students even practice tennis, weightlifting, and aerobics! In terms of the arts, students often take painting classes, flamenco dance classes, and guitar lessons.
