There are many who claim that film cannot be used to teach literary elements, but in my book, Finding Ways to Teach Differently, this topic is discussed in depth. Not only will I supply the background and research to support this new approach to teaching literature, but I will also provide concrete examples of how these techniques can be directly applied in the classroom.
