The Latin Social structure was of the wealthy being at the top. This meant that the wealthy discriminated over their fellow poor Latins. The poor Latins are also afraid of the wealthy therefore they cannot work comfortably with each other.
The Latin Americans had their own social structure different from other communities in the U.S. Their social structures were based on different groups in their society. The people were grouped according to how much property one owns, how you earn money and how your work is organized. The pure Spanish Latins were at the top of the hierarchy and believed that they cannot associate with the mixed Latin race. They employed them and paid them low amounts of income. The class system was created by the colonists but the pure Spanish continued with the system after colonization was over.
