"Good heavens! What happened to you, Amelia?" asked a woman with grey hair. A man, next to her on the right. Amelia shuddered and closed her eyes, remembering what had just happened.
It was a dark and rainy night. I had just finished a meeting with some of the most influential people in my buisness. I quickly ran over to my car, dreading the feeling of getting wet, as I had just bought these clothes yesterday. Turning on my car, I pulled out of my parking spot and headed home. As I was heading home, it felt like the road I was driving on was going on forever. Sighing, I tried not to get irritated and fall asleep. I hadn't slept at all for three days straight because of my work. Suddenly, I heard a bloodcurdling scream. I jumped in my seat and tried to calm down, telling myself that it was just my imagination. A while later, I started to hear mumbles sounding like a person was in my car with me in the seat behind me. I slowly looked in my rear-view mirror, and what I saw made my blood tune cold. A woman in her early 20's was sitting in the back of my car with blood dripping out of her mouth, eyes, and neck. She was wearing a black dress, one that you would wear to a funeral. Terrified, I screamed and closed my eyes, wishing for it to be over. When I opened my eyes again, I saw the woman again right in front of my car. Swerving around her as best as possible as the road is very narrow, I continued my journey to my new destination, my parents' house. Once I got there, I ran to the doorstep and waited.
Opening my eyes, I told my parents what happened, and they just looked at each other. In the end, my parents said to me that something like that had happened to them. I decided that I would never go on that road again.
