This is supposed to be a solution to deforestation/ wildfires i think this is a solution can someone just explain this paragraph to me
Answer: Controlled fires
Explanation:
Sometimes there will be unwanted plants in an area as well as undergrowth from forests that limits the growing of crops. There are very few ways to control these plants and burning is the most effective.
Some people will react by cutting down the trees in the forests next to the field so that the undergrowth can stop while others would simple set the field on fire which can lead to forest fires.
Controlled fires can help stop both things. If the farmers can carefully plan the fires such that it can be contained to an area, they can get rid of both the undergrowth and the unwanted plants without the fires spreading and becoming wildfires and without the need to cut down trees in the forests thereby limiting both deforestation and wildfires.
Write an essay about: How could robots affect our world? (400 words) I would greatly appreciate it and will give brainliest to first person. No plagiarism.
Answer:
Robots could affect our world in both negative and positive ways. It would help the economy by doing nearly impossible jobs for humans. Robots could do things quicker and more efficiently. Although robots could do risky jobs for us they might also come into taking simpler jobs for example, making food. its a simple job but people may think it would be way more efficient to have robots doing it. They are faster and work only one way rather than perhaps messing up and being slow ( as long as they are programmed right) everything could go smoothly. Unfortunately people may not have as much opportunities to make money. So it would perhaps be best if used robots for certain jobs like mining lifting heavy objects, ect.

Extract:
It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. Winston Smith, his chin nuzzled into his breast in an effort to escape the vile wind, slipped quickly through the glass doors of Victory Mansions, though not quickly enough to prevent a swirl of gritty dust from entering along with him. The hallway smelt of boiled cabbage and old rag mats. At one end of it a coloured poster, too large for indoor display, had been tacked to the wall. It depicted simply an enormous face, more than a metre wide: the face of a man of about forty-five, with a heavy black moustache and ruggedly handsome features. Winston made for the stairs. It was no use trying the lift. Even at the best of times it was seldom working, and at present the electric current was cut off during daylight hours. It was part of the economy drive in preparation for Hate Week. The flat was seven flights up, and Winston, who was thirty-nine and had a varicose ulcer above his right ankle, went slowly, resting several times on the way. On each landing, opposite the lift-shaft, the poster with the enormous face gazed from the wall. It was one of those pictures which are so contrived that the eyes follow you about when you move. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU, the caption beneath it ran. Inside the flat a fruity voice was reading out a list of figures which had something to do with the production of pig-iron. The voice came from an oblong metal plaque like a dulled mirror which formed part of the surface of the right-hand wall. Winston turned a switch and the voice sank somewhat, though the words were still distinguishable. The instrument (the telescreen, it was called) could be dimmed, but there was no way of shutting it off completely. He moved over to the window: a smallish, frail figure, the meagreness of his body merely emphasized by the blue overalls which were the uniform of the party. His hair was very fair, his face naturally sanguine, his skin roughened by coarse soap and blunt razor blades and the cold of the winter that had just ended. Outside, even through the shut window-pane, the world looked cold. Down in the street little eddies of wind were whirling dust and torn paper into spirals, and though the sun was shining and the sky a harsh blue, there seemed to be no colour in anything, except the posters that were plastered everywhere. The blackmoustachio'd face gazed down from every commanding corner. There was one on the house-front immediately opposite. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU, the caption said, while the dark eyes looked deep into Winston's own. Down at streetlevel another poster, torn at one corner, flapped fitfully in the wind, alternately covering and uncovering the single word INGSOC. In the far distance a helicopter skimmed down between the roofs, hovered for an instant like a bluebottle, and darted away again with a curving flight. It was the police patrol, snooping into people's windows. The patrols did not matter, however. Only the Thought Police mattered.

"Pitter patter!" falls the rain
On the school-room window-pane.
Such a plashing! such a dashing!
Will it e'er be dry again?
Down the gutter rolls a flood,
And the crossing's deep in mud;
And the puddles! oh, the puddles
Are a sight to stir one's blood!
Chorus
But let it rain
Tree-toads and frogs,
Muskets and pitchforks,
Kittens and dogs!
Dash away! plash away!
Who is afraid?
Here we go,
The Umbrella Brigade!
Pull the boots up to the knee!
Tie the hoods on merrily!
Such a hustling! Such a jostling!
Out of breath with fun are we.
Clatter, clatter, down the street,
Greeting every one we meet,
With our laughing and our chaffing,
Which the laughing drops repeat.

the young oysters got ready quickly and neatly what does that tell about them
Answer: Excitable and Eager for adventure.
Explanation:
This question relates to the poem recited to Alice when she was in the world beyond the mirror titled, ''The Walrus and the Carpenter''.
In it, a walrus and a carpenter trick oysters into taking a walk with them and then ate them. They tricked them by inviting them for a walk and talk and the oysters horridly agreed and got ready.
This shows that they were excitable characters who were eager for an adventure just like little children.

Write a Personal Narrative that tells the story of an important personal experience. Choose an experience that relates to a news event, or something of wider importance in the world.
Like most people around the world, I had all my plans hindered by the proliferation of coronavirus and the need to stay indoors until it was safe to do my activities again.
This situation made me very sad, because I saw time passing by and my life was not moving forward, my plans were not being realized and my goals were not being reached and I have no deadline that could solve these problems.
In addition to sadness and uncertainty, insecurity overwhelmed me and the fear that I would never have the chance to resume my life and make up for lost time.
This was the biggest experience I had and the most difficult, because I had to learn to deal with my darkest thoughts, without presenting a palpable hope for myself, but having to keep myself healthy, in order to get through this.
Although these thoughts still appear in my daily life, I have learned, with help, to live with them and accept them as something unreal and that is not part of my reality, but they are creations of my conscience in response to the moment of stress that we are living . I believe that I will have good results and that I will be able to beat them soon.
